Power-to-heat makes up an integral part of energy transition!

The released CO2 generated by the combustion of natural gas as well as the uncertainty as to whether gas – which is currently sourced mainly from Russia – will continue to be available is forcing the German industrial sector to look for alternatives to industrial gas burners.

Siekerkotte became integral consortium partner of a research group in mid-2018, that is financially supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and works on concrete solutions for the energy transition.
