SIEKERKOTTE at the ACHEMA 2018
Sales Manager Stephan Schwarz explains the advantages of hygienic electric heating technology designs for pharmaceutical and food processes to customers at ACHEMA 2018. Visitors from all over the world were able to gain a good insight into the state of the art of electric heating technology at the SIEKERKOTTE booth in Hall 6.1. Intensive technical discussions involved the topics of dead-space-free heaters for pharmaceutical or food production, as well as solutions to achieve sufficient heat transfer into the media even with high surface loads on the heaters. Two new products, which Siekerkotte presented to the trade public for the first time, attracted particular interest:
- Electric screw-in/immersion heaters with an integrated Profibus connection in the connection housing. This allows users to consistently extend networking and digitization (key word: Industry 4.0) of their system on this device level.
- The compact Siekerkotte tankless water heater series SDEP made of die-cast aluminum and optionally integrated pump caused a sensation among the trade audience. Thanks to its modular design and the fact that performance can be expanded at any time without difficulty, this provides users with a cost-effective and stable solution. The SDEP heater is Teflon-coated on the inside and thus well suited for problematic media.
Overall, the number of visitors to the SIEKERKOTTE booth was just as high as at the last ACHEMA. Since we also noted an increase in the quality of the contacts and the inquiries, the trade show was a complete success for the company despite an officially reported decline in visitors.
SIEKERKOTTE thanks all visitors and is already looking forward to ACHEMA 2021!
